Susan M. Seningen, 58, received her wings after a valiant battle with cancer on Friday July 26, 2019 with her loving family by her side at her home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She was born on November 5, 1960 in Camden, New Jersey to the late Edward Conrad Ministri & Nora Elizabeth (Curran) Ministri.
Susan had a personality larger than life and a smile that could light up a room. She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger. Her loving acceptance of everyone, drew people to her. Susan graduated from Rosemont College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Susan spent a semester abroad in Paris, France studying at The Sorbonne where she spoke fluent French, traveled and made life lasting friends. She was an independent stylist and top sales associate for Worth Clothing Company. Susan thoroughly enjoyed hosting clothing parties for the high end fashion line. She was an avid runner, completing several half marathons and a full marathon for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Above all other accomplishments, Susan was a devoted and remarkable wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, as well as a hero to all. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of getting to know her.
Left to cherish Susan’s memory are her beloved and devoted husband, Mr. Ken Seningen of Murrells Inlet; their adoring children, Ryan Seningen (Kate) of Charleston, SC, Alex Torr (Carrie) of Salt Lake City, UT & Justin Seningen of Simpsonville, SC; grandchildren, Ella Gray, Chase, Curran, & Henry; brothers, Tom, Peter, & Richard Ministri, sisters, Tricia Decker, Kathleen Madrid, & Barbara O'keefe; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins, a large, loving, extended family and countless supportive friends and neighbors.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in celebration of Susan’s life on Friday August 2, 2019 at 10:00AM, at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, 1633 Waverly Rd. Pawleys Island, SC 29585. The family will greet friends on Thursday August 1, 2019 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
