Sharon Sheffler

Sharon Rose Umstot Sheffler, 80, of Myrtle Beach, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Carolina Garden of Conway.

Sharon was born in Keyser, WV on October 27, 1938 to the late Marshall Umstot and Margaret Cook.

In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond Francis Sheffler; two brothers Marshall Wayne Umstot and James Umstot; two sisters, Bonnie Hood and Glenna Hood.

Sharon loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to travel and go camping with friends and family. In warm months she could often be found relaxing by the pool. Christmas was Sharon’s favorite time of year.

Left to treasure Sharon’s memory is her daughter, Carol Sibiski and husband Gregory of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters, Barbara Gross and husband Donald, Mary Rhodes; one brother, Michael Umstot; four grandchildren, Brett Sibiski of Raleigh, NC, Derek Sibiski and fiancé Sarah of Baltimore, MD, Carly West and Husband Mitchell of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Dean Sibiski of Myrtle Beach; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 12, 2019 at St. Margeret’s Catholic Church, 141 N Hickory Ave. Bel Air, MD 21014. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
