Sandra "Sandy" Teresa (John) Obuszewski

Sandra Obuszewski, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 7, 2019 at the Embrace Hospice House of the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on March 28, 1943 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Michael & Adele (Housey) John.

Along with her parents, Sandra is reunited in death with her beloved husband of 52 years, Mr. Robert Obuszewski.

Sandra was an outgoing woman with a heart of gold. She will forever be missed and remembered as a strong and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. 

Left to cherish Sandra's memory are children, Ken (Monica) Obuszewski of Round Rock, TX; Mark (Shelly) Obuszewski of Greer, SC; & Christine (Scott) Rogers of Penfield, NY; her beloved grandchildren, Jacob, Sean, Shane, Kyle, Justin, Zach and Emma; sister, Gail Beyer and her brother, Mike John; as well as a large loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors. 

A Memorial Mass to celebrate Sandra's life will be held on Saturday September 14, 2019 at 1:00PM at  St. Michael Catholic Church, Cypress Ave. Garden City, SC with inurnment to immediately follow in the church columbarium.  The family will greet friends on Friday September 13, 2019 from 6:00PM until 8:00pm at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. A prayer service will be held at 6:30PM.

At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be considered in lieu of flowers to St. Judes' Children's Research Hospital at 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or at st.jude.org
