Richard A Myrick

Richard Arlington Myrick, 81, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away on Sunday, September 08, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 22, 1938 in Northampton, Massachusetts son of the late Harold Arlington Myrick and Rose Ella Hayden Myrick.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Myrick and a sister, Ruth Burnier.

Survivors include his two daughters, Terry Bartus of Chicopee, Massachusetts and Gail Myrick and her husband John Green of Easthampton, Massachusetts; a son, Richard Myrick, Jr. and his wife Donna of Easthampton; grandchildren, Richard A. Myrick, III., Keri E. Myrick, Adam C. Buckley and his wife Marie, and Ryan J. Buckley; and two great grandchildren, Konner Light and Thea Buckley.

Richard was a big time NASCAR fan, especially to Dale Earnhardt. He loved to build model cars by hand and collect baseball cards.

Services will be privately held.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions in Richard's name be made to the American Heart Association, 10 Glenlake Pkwy NE South Tower Suite 400 Atlanta, GA 30328.
