Maryann T Purser

Maryann T. Purser, 83, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away on Friday, January 03, 2020 at her residence. She was born February 27, 1936 in Queens, NY daughter of the late Emil Hague and Genevive Myers Hague.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Jarman and Barbara Segel.

Survivors include her loving husband, Ralph Purser of Murrells Inlet; one son, Gerald Dorer of Myrtle Beach; three daughters, Ellyn Cioni and her late husband Gary of Nesconsent, NY, Lauren McGarvey and her husband Kenneth Sr. of Holbrook, NY and Valerie Stockerl and her husband George of The Woodlands, TX; two brothers, Donald Hague and his wife Betsy of Virginia Beach and George Hague and his wife Jackie of Davis, CA; nine grandchildren, Gary, Kristina, Amanda, Ken Jr., Matthew, Michael, Daniel, Brandon and Connor; and ten great grandchildren.

Maryann retired from the St. James NY Post Office as a Postal Clerk. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Garden City.

A funeral mass will be held 1:00pm Monday, January 06, 2020 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Avenue, Garden City, SC 29576 with Father Ed Fitzgerald officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00pm and from 6:00-8:00pm Sunday, January 05, 2019 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. A prayer service will be held at 6:00pm.
