Marguerite L Morsey

Marguerite L. Morsey of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

Marguerite was born in Saint Mary’s Hospital Waterbury, Connecticut, July 31, 1927 and was raised in Bridgewater, CT.  She has lived in New Milford CT, Albuquerque NM, Dover DE, Roxbury CT, and Murrells Inlet SC.

Left to cherish Marguerite’s memory are her children Mark & Rhonda Morsey of Surfside Beach, SC; Maureen Shirley of Myrtle Beach, SC; Sandie Fletcher of New Milford CT; Christopher & Donna Batterman of Myrtle Beach, SC; Wayne Morsey of Murrells Inlet, SC; Debbie Morsey of Danbury, CT; Suzanne Voss of Tyler, TX; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, as well as many supportive friends.

Marguerite is preceded in passing by her grandson, Scott E. Morsey.

Marguerite loved cooking, socializing, traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards and board games with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2019,

at St. John’s Episcopal Church, New Milford, CT.
