Larry Stephen Newsome, 69, of Florence, SC passed away on Monday, May 06, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1949 in Florence, SC son of the late Thomas Clayton Newsome and Luellen Weaver Newsome.

Survivors include one son, Dustin Newsome of Jacksonville, FL; four brothers, Thomas Clayton Newsome, Jr., Edsel Newsome, Ronald Newsome, and Lewis Newsome all of Florence, SC; three sisters, Brenda Newsome Hilsom of Charlotte, NC, Carolyn Newsome and Cecile Newsome both of Florence; and three grandchildren, Destine Hill, Bridgette Nance and Michael Newsome, Jr.

Larry was a wrecker driver in Florence for Sheppards Truck Rebuilders.

A celebration of life will be held 3:00pm May 11, 2019 at Peniel Baptist Church, 4186 Twin Church Road, Timmonsville, SC 29161. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
