John Onsi Rizk

John Onsi Rizk, 47, of Pawleys Island left us in the early morning hours on Saturday January 5, 2019. He was born January 22, 1971, in Charleston, WV and joined the Pawleys Island community in 1998.

John was many things to many people, including a beloved husband, brother, son, uncle, friend and comrade.

John is survived by his wife Mary Rizk of Pawleys Island, SC; Mother Laura Rizk of Charleston, WV; brother Richard Rizk and his wife Rhonda of Charleston, WV and Ricky Rizk of Raleigh, NC; nieces Essie and Sophie Davis of Pawleys Island, SC; Shepherd and Rebecca Davis of Pawleys Island, SC.

Thanks to the generous support of our community, a memorial service will be held at The Abbey in Pawleys Island on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 3:00 PM.

A celebration of John and his life will be held following the service at the Pawleys Island Tavern with light refreshments provided.

The family wants to extend a special thanks to the Tidelands Community Hospice Foundation for making it possible to bring John home during his last days.
