John Smith Obituary

John Patrick Smith, 76, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at his residence. He was born December 06, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late George Hall Smith and Ellen Pyne Smith.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Carl Smith.

Survivors include his wife of fifty three years, Patricia Smith of Murrells Inlet; three sons, Michael Smith and his wife Christine of Tully, NY, Joseph Smith of Montclair, VA and Bryan Smith and his wife Piychat of Woodbridge, VA; one daughter, Donna Marie Smith of Woodbridge, VA; one sister, Georgian Bittner of Philadelphia, PA; one brother, Dennis Smith and wife Dawn of Stafford, VA; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

John is a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

A celebration of John’s life will be held 2:00pm Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Mountcastle Turch Life Celebration Home, 4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA 22193 with military honors.
