Jill Gee Barth

Jill Gee Barth, 47, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 6, 2019 at her Myrtle Beach residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Concord, NC and raised in Kannapolis, NC, Jill is the daughter of Brenda Leazer Aldridge and the late Harold Gee.  She was a spirited person who was adventurous and full of life.  Jill loved the outdoors and found joy and relaxation in camping, boating and horse-back riding.  She also enjoyed traveling and was passionate about spending time with her family and friends.  Jill was an agent with State Farm Carolyn Bailey Agency and an agent/owner with Allstate Jill Barth Agency.  In addition to her late father, Jill is predeceased by her sister, Cathy Gee Tallent.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 22 years, H. Scott Barth; her children, Amanda, Abigail “Abby” and Alexandra “Alex” Barth; her mother, Brenda Leazer Aldridge and her husband Johnnie; her nieces, Ellisa and Caylie Tallent;  her mother and father in law, Jackie and Skip Barth; her sisters in law, Kim and her husband Nick Sherfesse; Jill and her husband David Rion; her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, her loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

The family would like to express a special “Thank You” for all the visits, prayers, words of comfort and out pouring of support from all the friends and family, near and far.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday July 10, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet, SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Jill’s name be made to Discover Church, 700 HWY 17 South Lorraine Plaza, suite E, Surfside Beach, SC 29575.
