Janice Tabitha Johnson

Janice Tabitha Johnson, 45, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away September 20, 2019 at her residence.  She was born June 04, 1974 daughter of the late Huey Johnson and Betty Jean Causey Johnson.

Survivors include a brother, Jamie Johnson and his wife, Christy of Aynor, SC; uncles, William S. Johnson, Danny M. Johnson (Diane), Denny Joe Causey (Bobbie Jean), and Jimmy Causey (Paula); aunts, Doris Rhodes, Sylvia Strickland, Marilyn Causey, Barbara Cooper (Dennis), and Mary  Suggs (Bill); niece, Jennifer; nephews, Trenton and Bradley; great-nieces, Emma, and Layla; great-nephews, Hunter, and Jasper; along with many loved cousins, friends, and close neighbors

Janice was known as "Cissy" to everyone.  She was like a sister to all. She loved to laugh and joke around, picking on her brother brought her great joy as with most younger sisters. She admired her father and knew herself to be a daddy's girl.  She was tender hearted when it came to animals and she was devoted to her dogs.  She enjoyed all flowers and could grow anything as she took great pride in her big wonderful plants. She was an avid cleaner and stayed busy with decorating, yard work, cooking, and taking care of her daddy. She was a tiny, busy, funny, devoted, loving daughter and sister who had the temper of a chihuahua and was loved greatly and will be missed beyond words. 

A celebration of Janice’s life will be held 2:00pm Saturday, October 05, 2019 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Janice’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
