James Covas Obituary

James Francis Covas, 71, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at his residence. He was born January 25, 1947 in Bronx, NY, son of the late John Covas and Bridget Langan Covas.

Survivors include his loving wife, Dawn Elizabeth Covas of Murrells Inlet; two daughters, Kimberly Covas and Tara Covas both of Sarasota, FL; three brothers, Jack Covas and his wife Celeste Covas of CA, Kevin Covas of NY and Chris Covas and his wife Ellen of NY; one sister, Terry DeRonde and her husband Walter of TX; step-daughter, Kelly Palumbo and husband Matthew of NJ; and sister-in-law, Donna Monaco of SC.

James served proudly as a United States Marine during Vietnam.
