Howard Stewart "Howie" Lockey, Jr.

“Howie” Howard Stewart Lockey, Jr. age 43, passed away on March 6, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born June 23, 1975 to Howard and Betty Lockey. He was a graduate of North Myrtle Beach and worked with Home Grown Hospitality Group for many years.

He loved spending time with his family & friends, being with His Fiancé Erin and the kids. Howie loved singing, playing drums and playing trivia music with his Dad. He loved to fish and go camping.

He is survived by his father, Howard Lockey, sisters: Sheila (Cliff) Nolan; Mindy (Mitchell) Livingston; Sandra (Don) Kelly; Jeannie (Steven) Folks; Faye (Allen) Cox; Gail (Glenn) Thompson; Paulette (Charles) Arnette; and his fiancé, the love of his life, Erin Parker and children Kenny, Ashland & Austin. He was blessed to have many wonderful and loving nieces and nephews. He loved his Homegrown Hospitality Family. He really cherished his fur babies, Miller & Porter.

Howie is rejoined with his mom, Betty, his Nanny and his Grandma. He is celebrating life forever with his sister, Cathy and nephews Steve, Christopher and Nick, as well as other family and friends.

The family would like to thank Grand Strand Regional Hospital, Embrace Hospice House (Myrtle Beach), the CJD Foundation and all the wonderful Doctors and Nurses.

Service will be at Foundations Church at the address listed above at 12:30 pm on Sunday March 10, 2019. The family will visit with all immediately following the service.  His brother-in-law, Reverend Mitchell Livingston will be officiating.
