Hildred Grimes Obituary

Hildred Darlene Grimes, 63, formerly of Morgantown, WV and Madison, OH, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 2, 2019 at her Myrtle Beach residence.

Born in Morgantown, WV, Mrs. Grimes was the daughter of the late Raymond B. Blosser and Maxine Blosser. She enjoyed playing on the Dart and Pool League, camping and singing karaoke. Mrs. Grimes loved people, but she especially loved living at the beach and relaxing by the ocean. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter, Ashley Kowalski and brother, Keith Blosser.

Survivors include her daughters, Amanda Kowalski of Morgantown, WV; Emily Benthall and her husband Stephen of High Spring , FL; grandsons, Liam, Seth and SJ; step daughter, Cara Grimes of Ohio; sister, Beverly Thalman and her husband Robert of Murrells Inlet, SC; brother, Larry Blosser and his wife Peggy of Morgantown, WV; close friend, Ed Timmerman of Myrtle Beach, and many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Mrs. Grimes cousin, Paula Shaffer Dennison of Myrtle Beach and dear friend Deborah Maurer of Murrells Inlet.
