Gary Curtis Chandler

Gary Curtis Chandler, 56, passed away peacefully on Monday February 18, 2019 at his home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He was born on March 10, 1962 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Curtis Sephus Chandler & Amy Brown Chandler.

Along with his parents, Gary is preceded in passing by his sister, Sherry Chandler.

Gary proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a proud nurse and had a passion for healthcare and assisting those in need. Gary will truly be missed for his caring demeanor.

Left to cherish Gary’s memory are his beloved wife, Lynn Bowman Chandler of Murrells Inlet; his step-son, Matthew Mills (Millicent Slayton) of Myrtle Beach; step-daughter, Staci Jessup (Dale Jessup) of Pilot, North Carolina; sister, Susan McKinney (Tim McKinney) of High Point, North Carolina; adoring grandchildren, Chandler Matthew Mills & Taylor Lynn Mills; as well as many loving and supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Gary’s life will be held privately.

At the request of the family, memorial contributions in Gary’s name may be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of one’s choice.
