Frank Cella Obituary

Frank Edward Cella, 79, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. He was born January 13, 1940 son of the late Frank Anthony Cella and Catherine Cella.

Survivors include his companion of thirty seven years, Phyllis Beaty of Murrells Inlet; brother, Dr. John R. Cella and Mary Elizabeth Cella of Raleigh, NC; three nieces, Beth, Katherine, and Ann; one nephew, John Jr.; Phyllis’ sons, Bobby, Keith II., Hoyt and Eric; and her grandchildren, Keith III., Morgan, Brandon, Jordyn and Serena.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one of Phyllis’ grandsons, Marshall.

Frank's brand of humor was a blend of northern "tell it like it is" and old fashioned southern charm, the best of two worlds.

A celebration of Frank’s life will be held 2:00pm Saturday, November 16, 2019 at The Well by the Sea, 211 Forestbrook Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Frank’s name to Help 4 Kids, 2523 Forestbrook Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588.
