Eugene "Steve" William Crist, Sr.

Eugene “Steve” William Crist, Sr., 64, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully Thursday, December 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 09, 1954 in Charleston, WV, son of the late Eugene Willis Crist and Nina Ruth Simmons Crist.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his infant brother, Bobby R. Crist and a sister, Connie F. Daughenbaugh.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty three years, Linda Crist of Myrtle Beach; son, Eugene “Peanut” W. Crist, Jr.; a daughter, Krystal Newhouse and her husband Brandon Redman; grandchildren, Stephen Walker and Nathan Newhouse; five brothers, Richard Crist of Charleston, WV, Randy Crist Blackshire of Clendenin, WV, Roy Crist of Clendenin, WV, Russell Crist of Clendenin, WV and David Crist of Clendenin, WV; sisters, Nancy Harvey of South Charleston, WV, Wanda Pittman of Sod, WV, Rhonda Crist of Sod, WV.

Steve loved bowling, fishing, playing golf and also helping people as much as he could.

Funeral Services will be privately held.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Steve's name to Tidelands Oncology, 1220 21st Ave. North, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
