Esther Zarifah “Chee Chee” Richardson, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 10, 2019 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on August 20, 1946 in Washington, DC to Esther Rosa Gongee Deaver and the late Charles Probart Deaver.

Chee Chee was loved by all who met her and had a smile that could light up a room. She was a free spirit who loved to dance and play cards.

A Celebration of Chee Chee’s life will be held on Thursday February 14, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.

At the request of the family, memorial contributions in Chee Chee’s name may be made in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer’s Association, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor New York, NY 10001
