Elinore Munch Obituary

Elinore Margaret Munch, age 103, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. She was born December 06, 1915 in Brooklyn, NY daughter of the late Harold Steel and Margaret Evelyn Ford Steel.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Warren Munch; a son, Allen Munch and her brothers, James Sidney Steel, Bernard Ford Steel and Albert Roland Steel.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Munch (Mark Calvert) of Myrtle Beach and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Elinore’s life will be held 11:00am Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church, 2637 US-17 BUS, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. A visitation will be held from 10:30-11:00am prior to service time.

The family will receive friends for refreshments in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Elinore’s name to Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church.
