Diane M Taylor, of the Indigo Creek Community, born on November 24, 1937 in Wilkes Barre, PA, passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2019 after a long battle with Leukemia.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly S. Ratz of Murrells Inlet, SC.; grandchildren Christopher and Tara Costello and Alexis and Elizabeth Panzer; and much loved nieces and nephews.  Through her marriage, she was a loving stepmother/grandmother to Ingrid and Gary Stefan, Karen Taylor, Mahlon C. Taylor Jr., Sellman Taylor and Kent Taylor along with seventeen (17) grandchildren and eighteen (18) great grandchildren.

Diane is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, M. Clint Taylor & her daughter, Leigh Ann Panzer, three sisters Rosie, Connie and Josephine and two brothers Vincent and Eugene.

Diane lived in New Jersey and Georgia before retiring to Indigo Creek/Murrells Inlet in 1998.  She was an accomplished businesswoman that had traveled extensively throughout her life and career.  Once retired, she was dedicated to the Indigo Creek Community and Birthright of Georgetown.  She also maintained a lifelong affiliation to the Sisters Servants of Jesus in Stirling, NJ.  Through her fundraising efforts, she helped renovate orphanages in Poland through the Sisters. She was always volunteering, willing to lend support and assistance where needed. She was kind and very much an energetic force who was committed to family, friends and community service.  She had many good friends that she loved dearly and enjoyed spending time.
