Cathy Perry Obituary
Cathy Ann Perry, 67, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2019 at her home in Surfside Beach, SC with her family by her side. She was born on April 20, 1952 to the late Harold and Ruth Foust of Waynesboro, PA.
Cathy loved living in Hawaii the last 20 years with her husband and dogs. She loved the beach, the ocean and all the beautiful flowers and sights of Hawaii. When she retired last year, she moved to Surfside Beach, SC to continue living by the beach, the ocean and be closer to her family. She loved family time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was the best Grammy ever.
Left to cherish Cathy’s memory are her husband Stephen Perry, her brother Chris Foust (Karen Foust), her children Shelley Tapia (Damon Gray), Geoffrey Scoggins (Yvonne Scoggins), her grandchildren Kaitlin Spangler (Steven Spangler), Dean (Allyson) Tapia. Rachel, Reese and Julia Scoggins, her great grandchildren Audrey Tapia, Emilia and Eli Spangler.
The family would like to express a special “Thank you” to all the hospice caregivers for the care, support and comfort given to Cathy and her family.
A Celebration of Cathy's life will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, go to the beach!
