Adora M. Sanders

Adora M. Sanders, 81, formerly of New Mexico, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at her Surfside Beach residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born in New Mexico, Adora was the loving daughter of the late George and Irma. She found great comfort in studying her Bible.  Adora also enjoyed reading, sewing, painting and playing cards but she especially spending time with her friends and family. In addition to her parents, Adora is predeceased by her loving husband, Richard and their son, Wesley.

Survivors include her loving children, Michelle and her husband Alex; George and his wife April and a gaggle of grands, great grands, great great grands and her constant loyal companion "Lil-Girl".

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Tuesday January 22, 2019 at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet.

In lieu of flowers that family asks that donations be made in Adora's name to a charity of your choice.

The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice Care and a special thank you to Brooke and Cassandra.
