Melissa “Missy” Lell Wesner Norket, 54, of Myrtle Beach passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at her residence. She was born December 15, 1963 in Myrtle Beach, daughter of Richard Allen Wesner and the late Lyticia Dubois Wesner.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, O.C. and Lazelle Dubois and paternal grandparents Alfred and Nell Wesner.
Surviving in addition to her father Richard Wesner and his wife Franza of Myrtle Beach are one son Cody R. Norket of Myrtle Beach; one sister, Chrisie Jollie and her husband Wayne of Myrtle Beach and one brother Reese O. Wesner of Myrtle Beach.
She was the General Manager of La Zelle’s Flower shop in Myrtle Beach.
Missy always had a smile on her face, especially when she was talking about Cody, who was the light of her life. She was the life of the party and never met a stranger. She was a huge Gamecock fan and enjoyed cheering them on every Saturday. She will be missed by her friends and all who loved her.
A celebration of Missy’s life will be held 1:00PM Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Belin United Methodist Church, 4182 US-17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. Burial will follow in Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Friday, February 16, 2018 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet SC 29576

Missy was and always will be my bff, my dance partner at Dixie Electric and my heart, She was a genuine lady and a light in my life. She will be missed just as much as i miss her mom..
