Ebba Anne Mary Marsilio, 59, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, at her home in Myrtle Beach on Friday May 5, 2017. She was born in Japan to the late Franklin and Anneliese Ebba Agnes (Zenker) Chandler.

Most importantly, she adored her family and loved unconditionally until her last breath. She retired in 2015 from Georgetown Hospital Systems where she was a skilled ICU nurse for Tidelands Waccamaw Hospital for many years.
Ebba leaves to cherish her memory, her adoring husband of 32 years, Robert; their daughters, Virginia Anne Pennington of West Virginia, Veronica Jean Ebba Suhol and her husband Dmitry of Virginia, and Victoria G. Barlow-Emily and her husband Jon Emily of South Carolina; her step-children, Jason Robert Marsilio and his wife Monica of North Carolina, and Matthew Steven Marsilio of New Jersey; grandchildren, Kaylee, Chandler, Darian, Trasey, Justin, Riley, Julia, Devin, Eliana, Dominic, Nadia and Teagen; her brother, Ronald Chandler and his wife Rachel of New Jersey; nieces, Kayanna and Sabrina both of New Jersey, and her beloved companion, Penny.
The Marsilio family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation for the kindness, love and support they have received from their wonderful friends and Beacon Hospice during this difficult time.

Heaven has surely gained a very special Angel. Ebba was like a second mama to my niece, Tonya, and she and Bob were very special to our family. Even though this was not the outcome we had all been praying for, God had bigger plans for her. Ebba was the most caring, loving wife, mother and friend I have ever known. She will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to know her. My thoughts and prayers will be with her family and friends as they go through the difficult process of learning how to go on with life without her.

I met Ebba and Bob while visiting my good friend two years ago. It was a delightful evening, and in the short time we spent together, I could see how special a lady she was. I know she will be missed very much by her good friend Linda, but always cherish the memories Linda!!!! You were a great friend to her!!! Bob, you are in my thoughts and prayers!!! God bless you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to the families. It may have been many years since we last saw you, it doesn't mean you weren't thought of.
