Johnny Patrick Millen II, 53, 0f Myrtle Beach, SC, died on Sunday, April 14, 2024. He was born in Newport News, VA, to Eunice Turner Ward Millen and Johnny Patrick Millen.
John was very strong in his faith and enjoyed fellowship with his brothers and sisters in Christ. As well as being a witness to Christ, he was a great friend and listener to
many. John was interested in Politics, an advocate for gun rights, and a member of the NRA.
He enjoyed watching sports. His favorite pastime after church would be taking a nap and
watching football or Nascar. He taught those around him to keep their heart and mind on God,
and to always give your best, or don’t do it at all. Most of all, he excelled in being a great
husband to his wife and an amazing father to his children.
John was a member of Beach Church, and served on the
Safety Team at Adventure Beach for about 15 years. He was also very involved in his
community. He served on the HOA Board for the Plantation at Hunters Ridge for over 10
years.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Lynn Wilson Millen of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sons, Brandon (Kierstan) Millen and Owen (Jackie) Millen both of Myrtle Beach, SC; Daughter Karly (Corey) Scheffler of Clinton Township, MI; Stepdaughter Danielle Phillips of Atlanta, GA; Stepson Robbie Phillips of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters Rhonda Dice of Simpsonville, SC and Wendy Millen of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Ella Rose, Ensley, Ayden Thor, Evelyn, and Bradley; special nephew, Parker Millen of Myrtle Beach, SC; special niece Hayley Millen of Randleman, NC.
A Celebration of Life, for Friends and Family, will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 , on the beach, below the Garden City Pier, at 6:30 am.
