Cotter Smith Obituary

Cotter L. Smith, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away peacefully at his home on March 18, 2024. He was born on November 30, 1927, in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Cotter proudly served in the US Army. He worked at IBM until his retirement to Vestal, NY. In 2018, he and his wife, Germaine, moved to Murrells Inlet, SC, to enjoy the warmer weather. Cotter enjoyed life, family, and friends. He was always there to brighten the lives of others. Cotter will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Hillcrest Cemetery, 1000 SC-544, Conway, SC 29526.
